Donate to help Suicide Awareness & Prevention in Nepal
Suicide is currently the number one cause of death for Nepali women ages 15-49.
But important things are happening around suicide awareness & prevention in Nepal… and Drawing the Tiger is part of it! Shanta’s story is at the core of a pilot program co-sponsored by the US Embassy, Fulbright and TPO Nepal—the most active among a handful of orgs working hard in the area of mental health.
We are currently asking for donations to fully develop a suicide awareness and prevention curriculum using clips from Drawing the Tiger. A pilot program is underway—you can read more about it in a blog post I wrote this past fall.
Also, feel free to email us with any questions about the film or program.
Donations are fully tax deductible, and if you would like, we will put you on our mailing list and you can stay up to date with the development of suicide awareness and prevention program as well as other developments around Drawing the Tiger.
It feels like a really big deal to have Shanta’s story out in the world—with the potential of helping others
